While attending The Women's Conference here in Los Angeles, I had the opportunity to meet the eccentric singer turned chef--Kelis. If you haven't heard, Kelis recently attended my alma matar Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. Not only is she now a certified chef but Kelis is also atasty saucier with her own brand of sauces named Bounty & Full. And as if her plate isn't full enough, she recently debuted her new cookbook "My Life On A Plate."

After chatting with her, we found out that we both attended the LCB Hollywood location--now closed, her love of cooking and her anticipation on the upcoming birth of her baby.

Kelis is a kickass singer and I'll admit, after checking out her recipes in the cookbook and cooking with a few of her sauces (my favorite Pineapple Mango Saffron Glaze) the chick is a badass CHEF!
