Beauty begins within and that's the truth, Ruth! People are always mesmerized by my age and I give the credit to eating foods that keep me youthful, along with my delicious family genes, of course. But there is another secret to my youthful living and that's incorporating healthy anti-aging foods as much as possible.

I've been preaching for awhile now about investing in what you digest and sexy is not only is your closet but it's in your kitchen too!

Get into a few of what I call my Forever Young Foods below.

Avocado - My absolute favorite!!! Rich, creamy and packed with good monounsaturated fats. Gives glowing skin, hair and nails.

Blueberries - Loaded with inflammatory agents, vitamins and antioxidants. Filled with vitamin C and aids in growth of blood cells.

Match Powder/Green Tea - Filled with large amounts of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Helps boost metabolism, fights free radicals.

Sweet Potatoes - Aids in gorgeous skin and boosts immunity. Loaded with Vitamin A, C and E.

Quinoa - Don't be fooled by it's tiny nature, this grain is power-packed with protein, essential amino acids and vitamins such as B6, iron and zinc.

Ginger Root - Natural health remedy. Aids in nausea and toothaches and stomach issues. Reduces joint pain and lowers blood sugar and increases insulin. Filled with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds such as generols, beta carotene and capsaicin.

Coconut Oil - Full of monounsaturated good-for-you fat. Cooks well in Thai, Asian and Indian foods on high heat.

Pineapple - Enhances the flavor and smell of body fluids and is packed with calcium, potassium, manganese, thiamin, B6 and beta carotene.
